If you believe you have found a security problem in Readnslate or on readnslate.com, please email readnslate.supp@hotmail.com with "Security" in the subject.

What to include

Include the app version (Help & About shows it), your Android version, a description of the problem and safe steps to reproduce it. Please do not send passwords, payment details, private books or other people's personal information. If sensitive evidence needs a safer transfer method, contact us first and we will arrange one.

How reports are handled

Reports are read by the developer. We confirm receipt, investigate, and coordinate a fix and its release through Google Play. Please allow us time to investigate and to publish a fix before sharing details that could put users at risk. We do not run a bug bounty programme and do not make promises about response times, but we take every report seriously and will tell you what we found. What Readnslate is, for context

Readnslate is a local-first Android reader: it has no account system, no Readnslate server and no storage permission, and its network use is limited to Google ML Kit downloads and telemetry, Google Play Billing and delivery, and links you open. The privacy policy describes each of these. Security updates for the app are delivered as new versions through Google Play; the terms of use describe the update commitment.

The security contact is also published as /.well-known/security.txt (RFC 9116). It names the same email address and an expiry date within a year; the file is refreshed before it expires.
